Before China, there was Portland.
Well, that’s not true at all. Not in the world history sense. I visited Portland a week before I went to China, so you know what I mean.
Worth a visit:
Mothers Bistro – because it really is all about the love. If you don’t make it for breakfast, at least pick up a cinnamon roll.
Bijou Cafe – another breakfast spot. We left feeling well-fed and well-loved.
See See Motor Coffee Co. – for coffee, beard-ogling, and cool t-shirts.
Andina – Peruvian fine dining. To-die-for wine.
Powell’s City of Books – I could spend days in this bookstore. And I did.
Kure Juice Bar – for the smoothie fans and squirrels.
