books I read in April

FFS, how is it past halfway through May already?!

April was a wildly wonderful month. I left my comfort zone far behind, and I’m better for it.

I think.

Books I read:

  1. Delirium, by Lauren Oliver
Sometimes dystopian YA novels are enjoyable. Sometimes they’re not.
  2. I Let You Go, by Clare Mackintosh
I had high hopes for this book because one of my friends raved about it to me for probably about a year. When I started reading it, I wasn’t impressed. By the end, I was sold.
  3. Be Frank With Me, by Julia Claiborne Johnson
Good and weird and not a waste of time, but also not very memorable.

I know… that wasn’t very much. But I was busy adding to my resume (Marketing Coordinator! Fitness Model!), running week-long experiments with slow carb dieting, and running week-long experiments with eating 4.3lbs of Easter chocolate. Also, it’s getting sunny outside. (See y’all in October?)

Let’s hope not.

Also, I made chocolate chip cookies again.
